Unit 5: Holidays and Traditions

Unit 5: Holidays and Traditions:
The approches in Unit 5 were, explained us how to know more about traditions around the world and appreciate them. We learned that traditions are very different in other places, for example,in weddings. For Indian weddings they usually give great parties which last even 5 days. The difference with Ecuador is that here wedding parties last just one night.
We also talk about what happen before, during and after a wedding in Ecuador. Nowadays, most people in Ecuador prefer to marry by the laws than marry in an ecclesiastic wedding. Before the big day, the setout freaks out the couple, the guets list, the invitations, the place where the wedding would be,( all of these it's common in almost every wedding, even if is just a civil wedding). During the day of the wedding celebration, writing about a civil wedding, couples in Ecuador invite family and closest friends to share the joy of their love. The civil wedding is preceded by a judge, who can officiate the marriage either in the couples house or at the civil registration. The couple must have witnesses (which are also the best man or the bridesmaid), it's a requirement for a civil wedding. Right after the ceremony comes the party, in Ecuador, for having a wedding party there are just few things that can not miss, such as the guests, the place, the music and the drinks, the rest it doesn't matter. After the wedding party, here in Ecuador it's not common a honey moon.
Grammar is very important for an English learner, this is the reason why we learned adjective clauses with object and subject relative pronouns.
All that it's described in the privious paragraph we learn by expositions made by our classmates and for some researches made by ourselves.
This lesson is valuable for our lives, we could apply it as general knowledge, which will give us the opportunity to talk with foreing people about this topic, and share and learn even more details about holidays and traditions.
At the end, our approches were achieved successfully about getting to know more about holidays and traditions, inside and outside of our country.
